today is world suicide prevention day

In America, alone, someone attempts suicide once every minute,
and someone completes a suicide once every 16 minutes.
On December 2, 2004, my son Jordin was one of those 16. In an
instant, his pain ended and our lives were changed forever.
Suicide affects everyone, no matter your age, race, sexual orientation, sex, wealth, status etc. and is the third most common cause of death for 10 – 24 year olds and is the second leading cause of death for college-age youth alone!
Know the warning signs!
September 10th is World Suicide Prevention Day, and you can make
a difference. Visit **Take 5 to Save Lives to learn how. By taking 5 minutes to get involved and become informed, you will be part of a national movement to save lives.
